Charleston SC: Circular Church

This year (and not to mention last year) I went to Charleston, South Carolina for my birthday and spent 4 days in the historic district. It's a wonderful little city and though it doesn't seem like it, it's a great place to have a vacation. There's a lot of things and places to see and it's worth the walking.

In this photo is one of the many churches that dot Charleston and it's most commonly known as the Circular Church since it's built in a circular fashion. I believe the architect believed that the devil hid in corners and thus tried his best to make sure there weren't any corners in the building. I took this picture while I was within the cemetery that also has the oldest dated tombstone in the city.
